Karen's Forester is Ready for Sky, Her Weimaraner

Thumbs Up!

I was fortunate enough to meet with Busam Subaru customer Karen Bause. She came to our service department today to have a dog separator put in her 2010 Subaru Forester. Sky, a 3 ½ month old Weimereiner is the family dog who, in Karen’s words, “is getting a little too big to sit in my lap”.

Sky, is her family’s second weimaraner, this is her second Forester, and now this is her second dog separator. Karen cited many great reasons for investing in a dog separator. “The separator is a great safety precaution. It keeps your dog secured in the back, so they don’t jump up and distract the driver. The separator also keeps the dog safe and maintained in the event of an accident.”

Karen, who resides in Mason, Ohio, is a busy woman! She has three children who are in 4th, 3rd, and Kindergarten respectiviely. In addition to having 3 children, and being a wife, she is a 4th grade teacher in the Finneytown school district.

We’re so happy Karen came in today. It’s awesome to see Subaru products used to protect man’s (and woman’s) best friend! We hope you’ll stop in soon and protect your best friend by putting in a dog separator.

Puppy Dogs + Hot Dogs = Lots of fun! Yesterday was our pet adoption day: Doggy Days at Busam Subaru. We had such a great time and a great turnout.

Bark Bark --- Woof Woof (Translation = Doggy Days is Fun!)

Our Subaru showroom was packed with puppies and people. Midwest Boston Terrier Rescue, Ohio Pug Rescue and Sheltered Paws Rescue were out in force with some awesome looking dogs… and one duck!

A duck you say?! Yeah, this is a really great story. A baby duck was lost from her mama and family and had wondered up to our lot. In a moment straight out of the movies, one of the volunteers from Sheltered Paws Rescue took the baby duckling down to the pond and was able to reunite it with his family! It was so cool!

The day was also highlighted by a recently rescued St. Bernard named Barney! This dog was awesome. He was a gentle giant, especially with all the Pugs and Boston Terriers running around! We even got to give him a bath!

Barney is lookin' good!

The doggy wash was a lot of fun. We were able to get all the puppies nice and clean! At one point we had at least 30 dogs on the facility sniffing each other and making new friends.

Thanks so much to all the participating rescues for bringing all the animals out!

We had so much fun!
